[RESUMO EM PORTUGUÊS] Tom-Eric Krijger (1987) é Professor Auxiliar em História Cultural do Cristianismo na Universidade de Leiden (NL). Concluiu, em 2008, a Licenciatura em História pela Universidade de Utreque (NL). Na mesma instituição concluiu, em 2010, o Mestrado de Pesquisa em História com uma tese sobre o protestantismo belga-holandês e, em 2011, o Mestrado em Ciências Religiosas com uma tese sobre emigrantes calvinistas holandeses em vários países da Europa e da América do Sul, incluído o Brasil. Obteve, em 2017, o Doutoramento pela Universidade de Groninga (NL) com uma tese sobre a história religiosa, sociocultural e política do protestantismo liberal holandês de uma perspectiva internacional, publicada sob o título The Eclipse of Liberal Protestantism in the Netherlands pela Editora Brill em 2019. Foi aluno visitante na Faculdade de Teologia Protestante em Bruxelas (BE) em 2009-2010, investigador visitante na Universidade de Harvard (USA) em 2015, e Scaliger Fellow na Universidade de Leiden (NL) em 2016. Desde 2013, tem dado várias aulas em História do Cristianismo nas universidades de Groninga e Leiden. Escreve sobre vários temas no âmbito da história do cristianismo na Holanda, em particular na sua relação com o estrangeiro. É membro das redações de duas revistas de história religiosa. Dedica-se como investigador-colaborador do CEHR-UCP em Lisboa (PT) à pesquisa sobre a relação entre a história do protestantismo em Portugal e na Holanda. ------------------------------------------------ [RESUMO EM INGLÊS] Tom-Eric Krijger (1987) is Assistant Professor of the Cultural History of Christianity at Leiden University (NL). He obtained a BA in History at Utrecht University (NL) in 2008. At the same university, he completed a Research MA in History in 2010 with a thesis on Dutch involvement with Protestantism in Belgium, and an MA in Religious Studies in 2011 with a thesis on the migration of Dutch Protestants to various countries in Europe and South America, including Brazil. Krijger obtained a PhD at the University of Groningen (NL) in 2017 with a dissertation on the religious, socio-cultural, and political history of Dutch liberal Protestantism from a global perspective, published under the title of The Eclipse of Liberal Protestantism in the Netherlands by Brill Publishers in 2019. Krijger was a visiting student at the Faculty of Protestant Theology in Brussels (BE) in 2009-2010, a visiting PhD researcher at Harvard University (USA) in 2015, and a Scaliger Fellow at Leiden University (NL) in 2016. Since 2013, he has been lecturing on the cultural history of Christianity at the universities of Groningen and Leiden. He publishes on a wide variety of themes in the field of the history of Dutch Christianity, particularly in its relation to the non-Dutch world, and is an editor of two religious history journals. As a collaborative researcher at CEHR-UCP in Lisbon (PT), Krijger studies the relationship between the history of Protestantism in Portugal and the Netherlands.
