Neftalí Sillero. Completed the MSc Degree in Evolutionary Ecology in 2002 by Universidad de Salamanca and PhD degree in Biogeography and Remote Sensing in 2006 by Universidad de León. NS Is Chairman of the Mapping Committee of the Societas Herpetologica Europaea of the Societas Herpetologica Europaea. He has lectured as Invited Professor at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia in Universidade Católica Portuguesa and ISMAI-Universidade da Maia. Published +76 articles in international journals, 31 in national journals, 3 books, and 14 book chapters. NS works in the areas of Spatial Ecology and Biogeography, using as main tools ecological niche models, spatial statistics, remote sensing and geographical information systems. We asl works in the areas of road ecology applied conservation. In their professional activities interacted with 145 collaborators co-authorship of scientific papers. NS holds a CEEC contract of Principal Researcher (CEECIND/02213/2017).
