Pooja Sharma has Master in Physics in 2011 from Choudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), India. In January 2020, she completed her Ph.D. in Physics from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Department of Physics, India. She has worked on the synthesis, characterization, and irradiation of Fullerene based metal nanocomposites. She has worked in the field of optical and structural properties of nanocomposites for their applications in sensors and solar cells. She has studied the influence of the incorporation of metal nanoparticles in fullerene matrix and its induced Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) which bears application potential in organic solar cells. She also worked on the modification of optical and structural properties of fullerene and fullerene-based nanocomposites using High/Low Energy Ion beam irradiation. She has participated in different experiments in different laboratories such as in 15UD Pelletron Accelerator, IUAC New Delhi, India, Elettra Beam line Synchrotron Trieste, Italy during the second semester of the cycle, Low Energy Ion Beam Facility (LEBF) at IUAC, New Delhi, India, Negative Ion Implantation facility at IUAC, New Delhi, India, X-ray radiation source PETRA III at Desy Research Lab in Hamburg, Germany, 200 keV Ion Beam Facility at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India. She has also been awarded the prestigious Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy (BASE) Fellowship-2017. During her BASE fellowship period, she worked on Perovskite solar cells fabrication and inter-layer modifications for enhancement in the efficiency of Perovskite solar cells in the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Colorado, USA. Dr. Sharma has more than 7 years of experience in research. She has published 20 research papers with 193 citations in reputed journals. She has presented more than 10 papers at International and National Conferences in India and abroad. Recently, she was invited as a speaker at the International Conference on Multifunctional Materials (ICSDCE-2021), and Session Chair 3rd International Conference on ¿Advancements in Nanoelectronics and Communication Technologies¿ (ICANCT-2022), and working as an international advisory committee member in International Conference on Frontiers in Physics, Materials Science and Nanotechnology (FPMSN-2022), and also session chair one of the sessions. Dr. Sharma is an active reviewer of several SCI journals. She has worked as postdoc at the University of Minho, Portugal on the project ¿Science DiabetICC Footwear: Desenvolvimento de calçado terapêutico inovador para pé diabético, with reference POCI-01-0247-FEDER-039784, supported by Portugal 2020 since January 2021 to January 2023. She has worked to develop nanoparticles embedded polymeric surfaces with antimicrobial and antibacterial properties via the sputtering technique. Apart from this, she has co-supervised a master project tribos 2022 on the topic The Effect of the various surface texture processing methods influencing the Tribological performance of the textured surface.¿ She has been working on the I9LOGO project with reference OCI-01-0247-FEDER-07260 with the title INNOVATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION OF LOGOTYPES FOR THE AUTOMOBILE, financed through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Operational Program for Competitiveness and Internationalization (COMPETE 2020),
