(Rosaceae) includes perennials that are distributed throughout the northern hemisphere. Some species of this genus are known by their medicinal interest.   2. Lavandula stoechas subsp. luisieri and L. pedunculata - phytochemical study, micromorphology and histochemistry. Extracts of different polarities were obtained from plants of Lavandula stoechas subsp. luisieri and Lavandula pedunculata collected in the Center and Southwest Portugal.
