She is an associate teacher at Faculdade de Belas Artes of Universidade de Lisboa (1989), where she develops her activity
as a researcher and as a teacher. During this period, we highlight the orientation of several research works within many master’s
degrees, doctoral studies and post-doctoral studies in Fine Arts/Sculpture. She teaches the curricular units of ceramics and
sculpture.
Within the scope of her investigation, she coordinated the project Projeto de Investigação Escultura Cerâmica (2001 to 2004;
www.fba.ul.pt ; link: Investigation/ CIEBA, Instituto Francisco de Holanda, Escultura Cerâmica), where we highlight the recovery
work of sculptures from the baroque sculpture collection in terracota from the Monastery of Alcobaça and the production of
the exhibition (E)vocações along with IPPAR (2003 to 2004).
She develops projects for Companhia Nacional de Refractários da Abrigada and for Fábrica Bordalo Pinheiro in Caldas da Rainha.
In 2005 she begins the project Guardar Águas (Terra di Barro http://youtu.be/mp-J6cJrgwo), does research in the field of
ethnoceramics – women’s pottery in the community of Trás di Munti in the municipality of Tarrafal de Santiago in Cape Verde.
In 2009 she founds the Arts and Crafts Center in Cape Verde.
As a visitant researcher at Universidade Estadual de São Paulo, UNESP, Brazil, (2010 and 2012), she oriented the seminar Seminário
de Investigação Arte e Participação.
In 1996 she founded the cultural association Associação Cultural de Arte e Comunicação Oficinas do Convento (1996) in Montemor-o-Novo
(www.oficinasdoconvento.com; link: projects: Telheiro da Encosta do Castelo; Do peso e da leveza), where she has directed
programs to promote the contemporary artistic production and from which we highlight the direction of the three Simpósios
Internacionais de Escultura em Terracota (1996,1998 and 2001).
She develops her activity as a sculptor, and the following exhibitions stand out: Terrenos e Moradas (1991 and 1998, Galeria
Municipal in Montemor-o-Novo); Espelhos (2000, Casa da Cerca – Centro de Arte Contemporânea em Almada), the public art works:
Monumento Associativismo (1994, Almada); the ceramic relief for the audience room of Tribunal da Relação de Lisboa, and the
sculpture for the entry of Tribunal de Arraiolos, (Portuguese Ministry of Justice, 1996); project “Names”, (celebration of
Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro’s death centenarian, Caldas da Rainha, 2005). She participates in collective exhibitions from which
