Milena Carla Lima de Carvalho holds a PhD in Documentary Sciences - Specialization in Information Management and Information
Services ¿ Information Science (2014) by Faculty of Humanities, University of Coimbra, a Master in Archives, Libraries and
Information Science by University of Évora (2008), Postgraduation in Documentary Sciences, variant Archives by Faculty of
Humanities, University of Porto (2003); Postgraduation in Human Resources by Ensino Desenvolvimento e Cooperação CRL, Porto
(2002), and a Bachelor Degree in European Studies by Ensino Desenvolvimento e Cooperação CRL, Porto in 1997. Since 2004, she
is a Senior Lecturer in various courses and master's degrees in Polytechnic of Porto/Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e
Administração do Porto (ISCAP). Between 2012-2018, she was the Ccoordinator of the Postgraduate Management School Libraries,
of Polytechnic of Porto/School of Management and Industrial Studies. Since 2016, she is Coordinator of the Program Degree
in Sciences and Technologies of Information and Documentation (LCTDI). Between 2016-2017, she was Coordinator of the Master's
degree in Business Information, in Polytechnic of Porto/Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto. Between
2004-2016, She coordinated the Public Relations Office Coordinator of Polytechnic of Porto/School of Management and Industrial
Studies. She is integrated as a researcher at the Transdisciplinary Culture, Space and Memory Research Centre at the Faculty
of Humanities, University of Porto. Is a researcher at the Centre for Organizational and Social Studies of Porto Accounting
and Business School, Polytechnic of Porto, and Researcher in Archives, Libraries, Information and Documentation, University
of León, Spain. She is member of the ISCAP Advisory Council; Member of the Jury for university candidates for over 23 years;
Since 2016, President of the Jury of ranking of candidates to LCTDI. Member of the Course Council of CTDI: Portuguese Information
Management Association. She is also European expert (EX2021D408390) in the areas of: Archives and Libraries - Culture [Creative
Europe]. Published 7 articles in journals. Has 3 section (s) of books and 4 book (s). Organized 39 event (s). Participated
in 48 event (s). Supervised 82 work (s) of course completion of LSc/BSc and co-supervised 13. Participates and/or participated
as PhD Student Fellow in 1 project (s). She works in the area (s) of Social Sciences with emphasis on Media and Communications
