I took my BSc degree in Biochemistry in 2013 and MSc in Biochemistry in 2016 at NOVA University of Lisbon. After my MSc, on a research grant, I was able to finish the work I developed during my Master Thesis, and I was also able to get in contact with new concepts, such as the mechanisms of molecular recognition in glycosciences. In May 2018, I got the opportunity to start a PhD in the PTNMR PhD programme. My research interests are focused on the field of glycosciences and molecular recognition, using NMR as major technique. During the last years, I have contributed to a better understanding of the recognition of glyco-antigens by human lectins, such as Galectin-3 and MGL. Finally, I published 11 original research articles, with a total of 160 citations (h-index 6) and attended 9 national and international conferences, where I was awarded with 2 Best Poster Award.
