P Pereira (M) (h-index: 41; i10: 68; citations:7700) is currently a Group Leader (since 2016) and the coordinator of the Research Unit Inova4Health and the Associated Laboratory LS4Future at Nova Medical School. P Pereira Published 88 articles in peer reviewed journals. Has published 6 book Chapter(s). Has 1 patent(s) registered. Supervised 6 Postdocs and 25 PhD theses. Has received 2 awards and/or honors. Participates and/or participated as Principal investigator in 18 project(s)/grants with external funding. His research interests include the study of molecular mechanisms of age-related diseases and particularly retinal diseases such as Age-related macular degeneration.
