Ozan Cetinaslan is an individual CEEC junior researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), a research institution in Porto, Portugal. He obtained his PhD from Computer Science Department of Faculty of Science, University of Porto (FCUP), Portugal in 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Verónica Orvalho with an FCT PhD scholarship. During his PhD, Dr. Cetinaslan was a member of the computer graphics lab. of DCC/FCUP (PIC). His primary research interests are computer graphics and animation. He is also interested in scientific computing. Dr. Cetinaslan has published 6 Journal and 6 Conference papers and received 3 best paper awards. Before joining to the PhD program of University of Porto, Dr. Cetinaslan obtained his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering department at 2005 and master of science degree in software engineering program at 2008 from Bogaziçi University in Istanbul/Turkey. After graduating from his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Cetinaslan worked as a mechanical engineer in an international contracting company until the end of 2011.
