During my career as a teacher of French as a Foreign Language, I was lucky enough to become a lecturer of French and Francophone Language and Literatures for Wallonie-Bruxelles International. While I was in that position in Poland, I was given the opportunity to start research in the field of the French Literature of Belgium and to achieve a PhD under the supervision of Professor Rapak from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and the co-direction of Marc Quaghebeur, one of the leading specialists in Belgian literature. I completed it in November 2023, under the name of: "De nouvelles formes d'engagement littéraire dans la littérature contemporaine francophone de Belgique. La génération 1970 [New forms of literary commitment in contemporary French-language literature in Belgium. The 1970s generation]." In parallel with this research work, I was appointed Academic and Cultural Liaison Officer for Wallonie-Bruxelles in Poland, which gave me the opportunity to be in charge of numerous scientific and cultural projects. For all these reasons, my rich and varied professional career has given me great creativity and a genuinely open mind, which are real assets when it comes to tackling new research issues in an original and innovative way.
