Ana-Vanessa Lucena has a licenciature in Artistic Education (Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Centro de Artes e Comunicação, 1990) and a licenciature in Psychologie Social (Université de Neuchâtel Bibliothèque, Faculté des Lettres et des Sciences Humaines, 2006). She is a professor of Didactics of Arts Activities in the high pedagogical school “Haute École Pédagogique” of the cantons of Bern, Jura and Neuchâtel (HEP-BEJUNE), in Switzerland. For the past ten years, her work has focused on the initial and in-service training of teachers in the Didactics of Artistic Activities in primary school (children between 4 to 12 years old). Her researches are driven by the HEP-BEJUNE and carried out in collaboration with the elementary schools of Neuchâtel canton and the Museum of Fine Arts of the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds (CH), as well as local artists. They aim to strengthen the collaboration between the future teachers training, the development of new artistical resources and the partnership between school and museums through the analysis of students work.
