Maria Bernardes André

Maria Bernardes André, a PhD student in Biomedicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, conducts her experimental research within the Toxicology Laboratory at the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto, affiliated with the UCIBIO-REQUIMTE network. Previously, she conducted six months of research supported by a Scientific Initiation Scholarship at the Associated Laboratory for Green Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She completed her Master's degree in Clinical and Forensic Analytical Toxicology from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto, in 2017. With a focus on Analytical Chemistry in Exact Sciences, Toxicology and Forensic Science in Medical and Health Sciences, and Molecular Biology in Natural Sciences, she has authored four articles in specialized journals.
