Daniela Falcão has obtained her PhD degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2010. Since then, she has worked as a researcher in the field of energy, including fuel cells and hydrogen production. Currently, since 2022, she has a permanent position, at FEUP (CEFT/ALICE), as an auxiliary researcher. Research interests are related with hydrogen associated technologies: electrolyzers and fuel cells, using both PEM and AEM membranes. She has been a team member in several national and European projects, as well as in projects with companies. She is regularly involved in the supervision of MSc and PhD students and fellow researchers, and in the organization of scientific conferences and other events for dissemination of science to the society. She is a regular reviewer for top-ranking journals in her area of expertise.
