PhD candidate at MARE-Madeira in association with the University of Madeira. My research interests span pelagic systems and the ecology of top predators. My current work focuses on trophic ecology and ecotoxicology related to organic UV filters and their behaviour (bioaccumulation and biomagnification) through different trophic chains. I'm a resilient and keen on learning. I'm optimistic, active and friendly at work. It is my belief that ecological knowledge provides us with the tools for successful ocean management.
