Rui Pereira is currently an PhD student in Sustainable Chemistry at the Faculty of Farmacy from University of Porto with collaboration with the University of Aveiro. He finished his BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry at the Faculty of Science from University of Porto with final grades of 18 and 19 respectively (in 20). He received several scholar distinctions, such as the award Teresa Fonseca (2018) and the award Prof. Doutor Manuel Ribeiro da Silva (2019). He performed 3 volunteered internships in scientific investigation, published 5 scientific articles in international peer reviewed journals and participated in international conferences with 12 communications. He was a research fellow with a graduate research grant between June and October of 2020. He has background in chemistry with specialization in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry.
