Jorge Duarte is Coordinating Professor with Aggregation (Habilitation) at the Department of Mathematics, Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, Lisbon (Portugal). ---------- Jorge Duarte has developed and maintained an independent research programme in Nonlinear Dynamical Systems and Differential Equations / Numerical and analytical methods applied to Biology & Medicine. ---------- Working in a truly interdisciplinary context, he is a Member of the Center for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry and Dynamic Systems (Department of Mathematics of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon) and Member of the European Society of Mathematical and Theoretical Biology, maintaining a solid collaboration with colleagues researchers from different subject areas in different international institutions.
