Mr. Zhongchi Liu is a Ph.D research fellow of CENTEC, Instituto Superior Técnico at University of Lisbon. He received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from National University of Singapore in 2014, and Master of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from University of California, Berkeley, USA. He worked as a research assistant in Marine Diesel Measuring Center, Dalian University of Technology from 2015 to 2019. He started his Ph.D research in 2019 at CENTEC, Instituto Superior Técnico at University of Lisbon and his Ph.D project is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). His research interests include aquaculture structure, dynamic response of flexible structures, fluid and structure interaction and finite element analysis. He can skillfully work with various modeling and computational simulation software, including SolidWorks, Creo, Abaqus, Ansys and Sesam. He can also proficiently use programming languages including matlab, vb.net and FORTRAN.
