Hugo Gamboa, concluiu o Doutoramento em Doutoramento em Engenharia Electrotécnica e de Computadores em 2008 pela Universidade de Lisboa Instituto Superior Técnico e Licenciatura em Licenciatura em Engenharia Electrotécnica e de Computadores em 1999 pelo(a) Universidade de Lisboa Instituto Superior Técnico. É Professor Catedrático na Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia Departamento de Física e Investigador no Laboratório de Instrumentação Engenharia Biomédica e Física da Radiação. É também Investigador Senior na Associação Fraunhofer Portugal Research, É actualmente Presidente da PLUX - Wireless Biosignals S.A. Atua nas áreas de Ciências da Engenharia e Tecnologias com ênfase em Engenharia Eletrotécnica, Eletrónica e Informática; Engenharia Biomédica e Instrumentação. Supervisionou 6 alunos de Doutoramento e mais de 50 alunos de Mestrado. Fundou e é co-presidente da conferência BIOSTEC na sua 17 edição. É membro senior do IEEE. É Investigador Principal no projeto Europeu AISYM4MED dedicado à geração de dados clínicos Publicou 66 trabalhos no últimos 5 anos (29 artigos em revista e 37 em conferências). Hugo Gamboa concluded his PhD in Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering at the Lisbon University in 2008 and the Degree (5 years Licenciatura) in Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering in the same University. He is a Full professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Nova School of Science and Technology at the Physics Department. Hugo Gamboa is a researcher at LIBPHYS and Senior Researcher at Fraunhofer Portugal at the AICOS research center. He serves as PLUX Wireless Biosignals President. His research focus on Medical Instrumentation and Biomedical Engineering. Successfully supervised 6 Phd students and more than 50 Msc students. Founded and has serverd as co-chair of BIOSTEC conference in its 15th edition. He is a Senior member of IEEE. He is the PI of the European Project AISYM4MED On clinical data synthesis. Published 66 peer reviewed works in the last 5 years (29 journal papers and 37 conference papers).
