Régis Radaelli, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in Human Movement Science from the Programa de Pós Graduação em Ciências do Movimento Humano - Universidade de Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (PPGCMH - UFRGS). Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the Egas Moniz School of Health & Science, specializing in teaching courses related to exercise physiology, exercise testing and prescription within the Physiotherapy program. His research focuses on Exercise as Medicine, chronic disease, and Healthy Aging, with a dual emphasis on exploring neuromuscular effects related to aging and disease, as well as investigating the role of exercise in mitigating the deleterious effects associated with aging and disease. Régis Radaelli demonstrates significant expertise across various domains, including muscle function, strength and muscle power output, physical function capacity, and exercise design and monitoring. His contributions have led to invitations to serve as a recognized and verified reviewer for several international scientific journals. With over 50 original articles in peer-reviewed journals, Régis Radaelli's research reflects a Web of Science H-index of 26.
