João M. Felício was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1990. He received the M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He is currently Assistant Professor at Escola Naval, Instituto Universitário Militar, Almada. He is also a Researcher at Centro de Investigação Naval (CINAV), Almada, and Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), Lisbon. His interests include antenna design, including transmitarray and reflectarray antennas, medical microwave imaging, and complex permittivity measurement of dielectric materials. He published 80+ journal and conference papers. João M. Felício was the recipient of four distinctions, namely the first prize for best research paper by the Portuguese URSI Committee in 2017.
