Marcelo Catarino graduated on Biotechnology in 2012 by the Agriculture College of Coimbra, got his MSc in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology in 2015 by the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra, and in 2021 ended his PhD in Sustainable Chemistry in the University of Aveiro. Currently he is a junior researcher at LAQV/REQUIMTE Aveiro, conducting his work in the fields of Natural, Agricultural and Food Biochemistry and Biotechnology. During his activities he as interacted with 44 fellow researchers producing 23 papers published in specialized journals, 9 book-chapters and over 30 communications in international conferences.
