Sara Ramos Marín. PhD student in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering in IST (University of Lisbon). She is also a researcher in the Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering (CENTEC). She is a graduate in Energy Engineering and holds a master in Geographical Information Systems and Technical Applications. She has previous research experience in the field of biogas production and renewable energies, permafrost geophysics and remote sensing. She also has worked for a short period as an Environmental Engineer in the industry of metal refinery. Currently, she is working on the topic of Offshore Marine Renewable Energies, with the main focus on wave energy exploration, ocean data analysis and marine spatial planning.
